We depart San Francisco on Philippine Airlines for this 12 hour flight to Manila. We leave Manila by bus to Anilao, Mabini Batangas, about two hours south, billed as the birthplace of Philippine scuba diving, and home to their most vibrant reefs and diverse marine life. It's also considered the nudibranch capital of the Philippines. The municipality of Mabini is more popular to tourists as "Anilao."
